There is no doubt that My Vitriol has talent. After seeing Alpha Waves, I had to have a good My Vitriol cd. ‘Finelines’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Such great and happy songs.
Always Your Way is almost impossible to review. From the moment you listen to The Gentle Art Of Choking you’re hooked. In Kohlstream it becomes nowhere more obvious that My Vitriol has yet to define own style. Cemented Shoes is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track My Vitriol ever produced. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Grounded because the melody in the chorus is so good. C O R is one of these floating songs. Infantile is a medium tempo tune. Ode To The Red Queen - A strong beat. Tongue Tied is a strong cut, one of many. Voice of My Vitriol in Windows And Walls is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Taprobane has a fun tempo. Losing Touch is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Pieces is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. The sound of Falling Off The Floor is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Under The Wheels have really caught my ear and imagination.
