This is the first studio album from Midori since bad diagnosis in 2001. It has been thirteen years Midori’ last studio CD, “Heaven’s Breath” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. ‘Heaven’s Breath’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
I hope to keep hearing Midori works for a long time to come. Dream on Until Tomorrow is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. In Watcher of the Dawn you won’t find any flashy solos. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Heaven’s Breath. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing.
