I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Mushroom Jazz, Vol. 3′ really is amazing. Mushroom Jazz, Vol. 3 isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Mark Farina had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This album is awesome.
De La Bass (Mousse T. Def Mix) (Instrumental) - Raw Instinct - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Listening to Vibrate - The Basement Khemist you can hear that Mark Farina has still amazing chemistry with band members. A fantastic track full of wonder. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Mushroom Jazz, Vol. 3 is Relax Your Mind - DJ Presto. Taste Of Funk - Mateo And Matos is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Mushroom Jazz, Vol. 3. Do It - Daddy’s Favorite is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. I like the idea behind Flirtation - Herb Alpert. Collage - Urban Backcountry is a gorgeous song and it grows on you. Jazz Cop (Mix: LP Version) - Gripper is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. The opening track Schooled In The Trade - People Under The Stairs is very much like you would expect from other albums. This track is clearly meant to showcase Mark Farina’s vocal abilities. Trackrunners - The Unspoken Heard is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Do It - Mountain Brothers good vocals. Rock Box (Instrumental) - Que D. is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Mushroom Jazz, Vol. 3 have ended. After about the third Sneakin’ - Jaffa listen through, I began to believe this song is Mark Farina’s essence. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Philadelphia - Bahamadia is a excellent, simple song by Mark Farina at the top of his game.
