Mark Boals had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Lead single “Ring Of Fire” and “Atlantis” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is the first studio album from Mark Boals since bad diagnosis in 2000. Overall, I would highly recommend Ring Of Fire CD.
Atlantis is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. First time I heard Bringer Of Pain was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Betrayer hits the heart. Keeper Of The Flame is probably one of Mark Boals’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. The Hunter is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Mark Boals released so far. Mark Boals allows each song to breathe and flourish. Once Dreamer gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Death Row is probably the most interesting track on Ring Of Fire. Alone is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Battle Of The Titan is a medium tempo tune.
