Maria Muldaur was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Maria Muldaur and Maria Muldaur’s Music for Lovers together. It’s natural for Maria Muldaur to take a stab at ‘Fanning The Flames’ considering her long-professed love for KLF. Since Maria Muldaur last CD (Maria Muldaur’s Music for Lovers) on EMI Records back in 2000, I have felt a massive void in my life. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Maria Muldaur ever.
The sound in Think About You is really warm and Maria Muldaur’s signature voice is still very much present. Voice and instruments in Latersville complement each other. When I listen to It Feels Like Rain in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Gee Baby, Ain’t I Good To You is Maria Muldaur’s best work in years. A unique and uplifting song. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Talk Real Slow - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Maria Muldaur. Put I Wanna Be Loved into car stereo for your highway driving Someday When We’re Both Alone is absolutely incredible. Southland Of The Heart on Maria Muldaur’s Music for Lovers is solid and easy to listen to.
