Lead single “Embrace Me” and “Be My God” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. On Be My God album, Lullacry have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Self-described as Metal: Heavy with lots of words, Lullacry comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Be My God touched my soul like nothing else.
Such hits like Be My God will leave you hooked. Without The Dreamer - Check out that bassline! Into Your Heart - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. In Trust Lullacry is at his best. Pain,Walk With Me is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. I Don’t Mind is a medium tempo tune. The opening track Damn You is very much like you would expect from other albums. Bonfires Of Time is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. This song stands out greatly from the others. Firequeen is a marvelous, simple song by Lullacry at the top of his game.
