It has been eleven years Lost Horizon’ last studio CD, “Awakening the World” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. It’s natural for Lost Horizon to take a stab at ‘The Quickening’ considering her long-professed love for Godless Cruelty. Lost Horizon was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Lost Horizon and Awakening the World together. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Heart of Storm is Lost Horizon’s best work in years. Sworn in the Metal Wind - Okay, I just talked about depth. I can’t stop humming along The Song of Air. World Through My Fateless Eyes is a perfect, simple song by Lost Horizon at the top of his game. The first time I listened to Perfect Warrior I was struck by its marvelous sound. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Awakening the World. Welcome Back catches attention immediately, In The Kingdom of My Will full palet of sound is used by Lost Horizon to accentuate the presentation. One listen to the sheer beauty of The Redintegration was all I needed.
