seven years ago, Lizzy Borden briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “(This Ain’t) The Summer Of Love”. After seeing Believe, I had to have a good Lizzy Borden cd. IF YOU LIKE ALL Lizzy Borden’S SONG GO FOR IT! To me Lizzy Borden is the best band ever.
(This Ain’t) The Summer Of Love is probably the most interesting track on Deal With The Devil. Music in State Of Pain is astounding as in all tracks of Deal With The Devil. Overall a nice softer song. I’ve found myself listening to Generation Landslide back to back and back many times. We Only Come Out At Night is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Lovin’ You Is Murder has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Deal With The Devil is a perfect song and it grows on you. Zanzibar gives taste of what makes Lizzy Borden special as a musician. In Hell Is For Heroes you won’t find any flashy solos. There Will Be Blood Tonight is exquisite song though, very addictive.
