This album has some very good songs like Lullaby For My Love and Sonata In A Minor. There is no doubt that Liona Boyd has talent. ‘Passport To Serenity’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. If I may, I suggest “Lullaby For My Love”. That one song is amazing!
Sonata In A Minor gets you up and jumping. Estudio In E is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Adelita is the song that really did it for me. The Girl With The Flaxen Hair without a doubt is the standout song of Passport To Serenity. Gymnopedie #1 is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Listening to Cantarell you can hear that Liona Boyd has still amazing chemistry with band members. Concerto In D (Adagio) is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Serenade For A Summer’s Evening to me is the best you can get from Liona Boyd. It’s such an underrated song. Arioso is the albums biggest surprise. Prelude is a strong cut, one of many. There is cool mix of music in Serenade For Winter. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Habanera on Passport To Serenity is solid and easy to listen to. Adagio For Guitar And Strings is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo.
