This -song debut EP shows the promise that Les Rita Mitsouko has. It has been fourteen years Les Rita Mitsouko’ last studio CD, “Bestov Les Rita Mitsouko” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Les Rita Mitsouko had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. I wish that “Bestov Les Rita Mitsouko” album was instrumental.
Don’t Forget the Nite is just simply stunning. Petit Train - I like this one. Hip Kit is another favourite of mine. I was truly moved when I heard Marcia Baila. Cool Frenesie is one of the best records ever. I loved Andy the first time I heard it. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Soriere & l’Inquisiteur is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Musically Mandolino City is superior to other tracks in Bestov Les Rita Mitsouko. Modern Baleine had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Amants as a highlight of Bestov Les Rita Mitsouko contains a ton of excellent melodies. Histoires d’A which is my favorite is a truly Les Rita Mitsouko sounding song. Y’a d’La Haine to me is the best you can get from Les Rita Mitsouko. Allo is the funkiest number on the album. I find myself hearing bits of C’est Comme Ca here and there throughout my waking hours. Clown de mes malheurs one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard.
