Lead single “Faerie Cottage” and “The Winged Slylphs” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. six years ago, Llewellyn briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “The Winged Slylphs”. John Digester has compared writing for Llewellyn’s new album to that on ‘Journey To The Faeries’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Journey To The Faeries is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
I like to sing along with The Winged Slylphs, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Dancing Salamanders is a very catchy tune. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Gnome Woods is really the reason why I recommend buying Journey To The Faeries. The Fairie Gift-Farewell - Llewellyn first major hit.
