Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Lian Ross on ‘Say You’ll Never’. While no new Lian Ross album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2002 tour in North America. Say You’ll Never isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Scratch My Name - Lian Ross first major hit. So much energy, so exciting a sound.This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Saturday Night is probably one of Lian Ross’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. It’s Up To You actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Lian Ross’s face. Neverending Love has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Do You Wanna Funk is another strong production from Lian Ross. Say Say Say - My least favorite song on this album. Oh, Want You Tell Me is the most memorable and amazing. Baby I’m Gonna On My Way gives good insight into the truths. Charming song, great melody. Fantasy (98 Rap Mix) stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty.
