After seeing Kheops, I had to have a good Kheops cd. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Kheops’s new album to that on ‘Pyramix’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. On Pyramix album, Kheops have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Check it every song is worth the money for the Pyramix CD!
In Pyramix Kheops spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Armenian Song has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Pygmy Party sets the tone for the entire album. I hope to keep hearing Kheops works for a long time to come. Ultima Lagrima Da Vida is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. I have all of Kheops’s tracks and From Taipei To Oulan Bator is probably the most his introspective effort. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Musically Domine is superior to other tracks in Pyramix. Strong, powerful vocals of Kheops in Indian Love Dance are very impressive. Drunken Sailor is one of my favorite songs by Kheops. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Cimeras (4:09) a good melody.
