Lead single “The Gooch” and “Cruel Shoes” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It has been eight years Keelhaul’ last studio CD, “Subject to Change Without Notice” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Lyrics of Cruel Shoes are precise and evocative. Driver’s Bread - This is a very lively song. I came to like Carl Vs. The 10,000LB Shadow. Keelhaul is one of artists that allow his songs like Shackleton to stand on their own and be heard. HMG is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Keelhaul sings his heart out in Tits Of War. Answer The Chicken is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Keelhaul ever produced. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Mash The Sandwich, which shows, blatantly, how much Keelhaul has evolved as a singer. Randall has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Once you hear Two Twinkies Deep, you will listen to it over and over. You have to get essence of the Burlinolinol’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece.
