While no new Junior Klan album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2003 tour in Australia. Since Junior Klan last CD (21 Exitos) on Mute Records back in 2003, I have felt a massive void in my life. Junior Klan’s debut, ‘21 Exitos’, does not fit easily into one genre. This album is a scorcher!
This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. I like La Probadita because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Que Pasara Macana catches attention immediately, The first time I listened to Las Africanas I was struck by its cool sound. Solo Piensa En Mi is excellent song though, very addictive. I’ve found myself listening to La Chica De Amarillo back to back and back many times. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Excellent vocals and musical performances. In Ven, Ven Ven you won’t find any flashy solos. Eliminacion De Los Feos has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Junior Klan’s strong vocals come to the fore. Junior Klan must have run out of lyrics on the next track Como Menea. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Junior Klan. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Within the first few notes of Indomable it’s perfectly clear that Junior Klan is living this song. Music of Bailando Pegaito is gentle, never overbearing. I can’t stop playing Tu Enemigo. Best song on the album, love it. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Bailan Pegaito has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Music in Cuidado Compay Gallo is amazing as in all tracks of 21 Exitos. El Solterito - My least favorite song on this album.
