I was truly moved when I heard Playin’ It Cool. First time I heard Cadillac Jack was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Underneath It All - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Pass It On is Jeff Golub’s best work in years. All of songs on Soul Sessions and have something to say letting alone Isn’t That So?. Music and lyrics of Back Home creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Can’t Let You Go defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Vibrolux - arguably the best track on Soul Sessions album. In Nubian Blue you won’t find any flashy solos. Skin Tight has a beautifully haunting disco flavor.
