I am not a real New Age music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Butterfly Chamber’ really is amazing. Lead single “Odyssey” and “The Citadel” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Since completing 2002’s ‘Odyssey’, James Johnson fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
A great put together song. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Through The Resonance Field is a excellent sing-along. Incensario is a fine track on any terms. I can’t stop humming along Tepantitla. As always, James Johnson’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Blew our minds when we first heard House Of Mist.
