Sunrise In Riverland isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Lead single “Finlandia (Instrumental)” and “The Land Of The Wintersun” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Insania had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. One of Insania’s best albums yet.
The Land Of The Wintersun defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Heaven Or Hell still maintains something of a specific flourish. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Angels In The Sky is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Lost In Time is simple, dignified and effective, Insania refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. It’s such an underrated song. Insania is hitting on all cylinders in Sunrise In Riverland. Only one song from Sunrise In Riverland named Dangerous Mind really got me. I love the melodic melody of Seasons Of Life and to this day it makes me feel good. Tears Of The Nature is the albums biggest surprise. Put Time Of The Prophecies into car stereo for your highway driving
