When you buy a Hollenthon album, you know exactly what you’re getting! On the Brazil charts, superstar Hollenthon’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This nine-song debut EP shows the promise that Hollenthon has. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Homage - Magni Nominis Umbra gets you up and jumping. Vestige - Non Omnis Moriar is almost impossible to review. Lure - Pallida Mors can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Hollenthon is all about. Interlude - Ultima Ratio Regum still maintains something of a specific flourish. Nice and different song. Premonition - Lex Talionis is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Hollenthon released so far. I like the idea behind Eclipse - Vita Nova.
