This is the first studio album from His Hero Is Gone since bad diagnosis in 2001. This -song debut EP shows the promise that His Hero Is Gone has. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of His Hero Is Gone energies, virtually a rebirth. This album is in perfect progression from His Hero Is Gone!
It’s such an underrated song. Charming song, great melody. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Remedy Past Remedies. Angry Gods is one of the coolest songs His Hero Is Gone has ever recorded. In The Red is probably the most interesting track on The Plot Sickness. Outside In as a highlight of The Plot Sickness contains a ton of amazing melodies. Best song on the album, love it. The Willing Host great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Blew our minds when we first heard Enslavement Redefined. His Hero Is Gone allows each song to breathe and flourish. Scare Tactic as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Sound The Alarm is such a marvelous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Some call Fools Gold from The Plot Sickness as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Friendly Fire is a exquisite sing-along. Becoming Soil - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Raise The Curtain is a great opener for The Plot Sickness. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. The Plot Sickness couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Disinformation Age. Simple and heartfelt closing track Domesticated Breed closes The Plot Sickness on a high note. Ten Dollars A Day is a good listen every once in a while. Live At Shelter Club, Tokyo, Japan has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album.
