‘Blod Og Ild’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. There is no doubt that Helheim has talent. Now signed to Helheim’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Blod Og Ild” leads Helheim’s back-to-school campaign. Blod Og Ild is not something you should pass up.
One listen to the sheer beauty of Helheim part I (bonus tracks) was all I needed. Yme is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Terrorveldet is almost impossible to review. I like the agression and power of Odins moy. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Helheim. Asgardsreien on Blod Og Ild is solid and easy to listen to. Jernskogen (fullength mix) is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. I love the melodic melody of Helheim part II and to this day it makes me feel good. As always, Helheim’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. After few listenings I started to like Blod og ild more and more.
