Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Godgory on ‘Final Journey’. It’s natural for Godgory to take a stab at ‘Final Journey’ considering her long-professed love for Azymuth. Lead single “Final Journey” and “Payback” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. If I may, I suggest “Final Journey”. That one song is amazing!
Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Payback is my favorite song on Way Beyond. Another Day is perfect. You have to get essence of the Tear It Down’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Once you hear Caressed By Flames, you will listen to it over and over. I like the idea behind Farewell. Sea Of Dreams one is one of the better boring ones. I listened to the opening track Holy War and liked it a lot.
