This is the first studio album from Friends Of Dean Martinez since bad diagnosis in 2003. Friends Of Dean Martinez’s debut, ‘Under the Waves’, does not fit easily into one genre. This disc has all of the essential Friends Of Dean Martinez classics. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Friends Of Dean Martinez ever.
It’s such an underrated song. Time’s not your friend is a marvelous sing-along. Indian Summer is a striking and quite long song. In Under the waves the music gets its power. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Best song on the album, love it. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect.
