Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Flowing Tears on ‘Intro’. There is no doubt that Flowing Tears has talent. Serpentine isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Another great offering from Flowing Tears.
Flowing Tears has astounded me with this amazing track. Serpentine has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. After about the third Children Of The Sun listen through, I began to believe this song is Flowing Tears’s essence. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Breach is a fine track on any terms. Portsall (Departure Song) is the album’s biggest hit, I think. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. I came to like The Carnage People. Merlin without a doubt is the standout song of Serpentine. I like Cupid Of The Carrion Kind because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. For Tonight is a cool sing-along.
