Self-described as Dance with lots of words, Fila Brazillia comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Lead single “Tosh - Fluke” and “Who Do You Love? - Angela John, Jose Padilla” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. On B2 (cd1) album, Fila Brazillia have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Another great offering from Fila Brazillia.
Who Do You Love? - Angela John, Jose Padilla is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Slightly Elevated - Beef Wellington is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Fila Brazillia released so far. Art Farmer is probably the most interesting track on B2 (cd1). Music in Truth Theme is amazing as in all tracks of B2 (cd1). Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with FILA Brazillia Remix. Soul Sauce (Guachi Guaro) - Cal Tjader - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Fila Brazillia must have run out of lyrics on the next track How Jazz Is It?. Fusion - Sven V - Okay, I just talked about depth. Get B2 (cd1) and turn on Sweet Rain - Euphoria if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Doppleganger - Razorbacks is a very catchy tune.
