This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Eric Bibb has. For older fans Natural Light will put a massive smile accross your face. After seeing Too Much Stuff, I had to have a good Eric Bibb cd. This is what good Blues should be.
Home Lovin’ Man is a bit different from Eric Bibb stereotypical stuff. So Sorry as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. No Eric Bibb song has come close to capturing my attention as Tell Riley did. Guru Man Blues - My least favorite song on this album. Every Time It Rains hits the heart. Champagne Habits - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. After you’ve listened to Circles, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. I was truly moved when I heard Right On Time. Gratefully Blue is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Natural Light have ended. As always, Eric Bibb’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Eric Bibb offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself.
