thirteen years ago, Enter My Silence briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Filter X”. It has been thirteen years Enter My Silence’ last studio CD, “Remotecontrolled Scythe” which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Enter My Silence’s album Remotecontrolled Scythe falls to No. 2 with 184,000, a sales slide of 72%. I wish that “Remotecontrolled Scythe” album was instrumental.
Still going through Remotecontrolled Scythe and coming to appreciate Filter X more and more with every listen. Opening track Inhale Exhale shows the best of Enter My Silence. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Nevernity still maintains something of a specific flourish. Six.Nothing on Remotecontrolled Scythe is solid and easy to listen to. Split is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Strong, powerful vocals of Enter My Silence in The Loss Of The Leading One are very impressive.
