On the Germany charts, superstar Enrique Morente’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. It has been seven years Enrique Morente’ last studio CD, “Lorca” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. Lorca is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Enrique Morente “Lorca” is an amazing album.
In Fandangos the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Enrique Morente emotions are reflected through Bambera. Fragmentos La Romeria De Yerma is a strong cut, one of many. Final great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Cantar Del Alma is a perfect, simple song by Enrique Morente at the top of his game. I can’t stop humming along Y De Pronto. El Lenguaje De Las Flores is one of the best records ever. Gacela Del Amor Improvistos Y Otros Fandangos (4:02) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Album opener Poemas De La Saeta is a bright, upbeat ditty. Los Saeteros gives good insight into the truths. Lorca couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Tierra Y Luna. Still going through Lorca and coming to appreciate La Leyenda Del Tiempo more and more with every listen. I listened to the opening track Campanas Por El Poeta and liked it a lot.
