When you buy a El Chapo de Sinaloa album, you know exactly what you’re getting! It has been seven years El Chapo de Sinaloa’ last studio CD, “Fantasia Loca” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This is the first studio album from El Chapo de Sinaloa since bad diagnosis in 2003. This is what good Folk should be.
Voice of El Chapo de Sinaloa in Linda Rancherita is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. When I listen to Pa Que Rebuelcas El Agua in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Tu Peor Castigo is a fine track on any terms. La Piedra - A strong beat. I love the melodic melody of Suena La Banda and to this day it makes me feel good. Put Que Sera El Amor into car stereo for your highway driving Only one song from Fantasia Loca named La Joya De Un Borracho really got me. Popurri De Sones El Javali Palo Verde La Loba is the cool blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Las Llaves De Mi Alma has a fun tempo. Sangrando Una Herida is a excellent sing-along. Simple and heartfelt closing track Luz De Mi Vida closes Fantasia Loca on a high note. No Te Culpo can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what El Chapo de Sinaloa is all about. After you’ve listened to Fantasia Loca (Noteno), most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. The opening track Fantasia Loca (Balada) is very much like you would expect from other albums.
