Reste isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Edgar Froese’s album Reste falls to No. 2 with 803,000, a sales slide of 85%. When you buy a Edgar Froese album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This is what good Electronic should be.
This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Before Dawn is the first taste of the new album. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. The sound in Severed Dreams is really warm and Edgar Froese’s signature voice is still very much present. Vault Of The Heavens is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Still going through Reste and coming to appreciate Maroubra Bay Part 2 Pantha Rei (Rare) more and more with every listen.
