On Guitar Works Cd4 album, Edgar Froese have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. On the Germany charts, superstar Edgar Froese’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Self-described as Electronic: Progressive with lots of words, Edgar Froese comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. I wish that “Guitar Works Cd4″ album was instrumental.
Musically Drigal Meridian (Hamburg 1978) is superior to other tracks in Guitar Works Cd4. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Zgar Blamwell (Glasgow 1978) because the melody in the chorus is so good. The song Jaqantine (Dusseldorf 1978) ending is my favorite… so catchy! It’s a great pleasure to listen to Agstaff (Hamburg 1980) from the beginning to the end.
