There is so much to love about Edgar Froese, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. While no new Edgar Froese album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2003 tour in North America. There is no doubt that Edgar Froese has talent. Ambient Highway Vol 4 is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. The song feels complete. Descent Like A Hawk is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. When I listen to Juniper Mascara in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Pinnacles Part 2 is one of the coolest songs Edgar Froese has ever recorded. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Metropolis Part 2 is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Edgar Froese ever produced. South Dakota is simple, dignified and effective, Edgar Froese refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Edgar Froese sings his heart out in Year Of The Falcon. Raindrops On Black Skin is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart.
