On Bedrock Breaks (part 1) album, DJ Hyper have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This twelve-song debut EP shows the promise that DJ Hyper has. Now signed to DJ Hyper’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Bedrock Breaks (part 1)” leads DJ Hyper’s back-to-school campaign. Overall, I would highly recommend Bedrock Breaks (part 1) CD.
Overall a nice softer song. Terminalhead — Give Me Head is one of the coolest songs DJ Hyper has ever recorded. I can’t stop playing Fatboy Slim — Retox (Gettin Freqy with Fatboy mix). Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Puretone — Addicted To Bass (Hyper & Rhymes remix) have really caught my ear and imagination. Rennie Pilgrem — A Place Called Acid (part 2) is astounding. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Koma And Bones — American Thief. Brothers Love Dubs — The Mighty Ming (Plump DJ’s Remix) - Okay, I just talked about depth. Minuteman — Lo Life without a doubt is the standout song of Bedrock Breaks (part 1). I love the melodic melody of Dark Gioble feat. Boy George — Auto Erotic (Waterbed mix) and to this day it makes me feel good.
