De Phazz was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from De Phazz and Plastic Love Memory together. It’s natural for De Phazz to take a stab at ‘Love Set You Going (De-Phazz Vs. Lahr)’ considering her long-professed love for Depeche Mode. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of De Phazz energies, virtually a rebirth. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Nameless Life (Rapoetry) - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. De Phazz has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Riddim Wize sets the tone for the entire album. Hero Dead and Gone (Reversed Mix) is almost impossible to review. Voice of De Phazz in Downtown Tazacorte is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Radio Sol is the most memorable and astounding. A great put together song. Good Boy (Stepin’ Nerve Mix) is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Drop Down Low pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. No Jive (Ripped Version) - I like this one. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Good Boy (Manmachineman Remix), which shows, blatantly, how much De Phazz has evolved as a singer. Hero Dead and Gone (Discotheque Mix) is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. This song may be the most meaningful.
