After few listenings I started to like Something Special more and more. I hope to keep hearing De Phazz works for a long time to come. I like the agression and power of Sabbatical. Better Now is pretty funky and mellow. Once you hear Death By Chocolate, you will listen to it over and over. De Phazz sings his heart out in Jeunesse Doree. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Jim The Jinn is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Blew our minds when we first heard Roy’s Choice. Opening track Trash Box shows the best of De Phazz. Some of the arrangements found on Death By Chocolate are surprisingly edgy. Maybe San Jose is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Loves Labours Lost is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Simple and heartfelt closing track North West closes Death By Chocolate on a high note. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. De Phazz is one of artists that allow his songs like The Mambo Craze to stand on their own and be heard. Jazz Music is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Squeeze The Trigger is the more seemingly obscure song on Death By Chocolate that bear up best to repeated listening. I find myself hearing bits of Happiness here and there throughout my waking hours.
