This disc has all of the essential Dargaard classics. On the U.S. charts, superstar Dargaard’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. After seeing As Old As The Bones Of The Earth, I had to have a good Dargaard cd. The Dissolution Of Eternity constantly brilliant.
Thy Fleeing Time is astounding. A Path In The Dust have really caught my ear and imagination. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with In The Omnipresence Of Death. My Phantasm Supreme is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Dargaard released so far. Night Before The Vastland Storms is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. The Isolated Vale - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Dargaard sings A Prophecy Of Immortality in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Wanderer At The End Of Time - arguably the best track on The Dissolution Of Eternity album.
