It has been nine years Dana Gillespie’ last studio CD, “Experienced” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Since Dana Gillespie last CD (Experienced) on SixSteps records back in 2000, I have felt a massive void in my life. Since completing 2000’s ‘Try Me’, Dana Gillespie fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. One of Dana Gillespie’s best albums yet.
Tough Love is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. I like the agression and power of There Will Always Be A New Tomorrow. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Take It Like A Man is one of these floating songs. A great put together song. One Kiss x 108 is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Me Without You to me is the best you can get from Dana Gillespie. This track is full of harmonies and gets Experienced off to a relaxing start. I believe Crying For The Moon is one of the most gorgeous, heartfelt songs ever written. This song stands out greatly from the others. Break Down The Door is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Experienced have ended.
