Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Cicala Mvta on ‘Motto Kyu-Na Saka’. This disc has all of the essential Cicala Mvta classics. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Cicala Mvta’s album Deko-Boko falls to No. 2 with 799,000, a sales slide of 74%. Deko-Boko is the best essence of Cicala Mvta.
Albert Ayler Medley is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Some of the arrangements found on Deko-Boko are surprisingly edgy. Bessarabian Hora can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Cicala Mvta is all about. Bulgaria Rhythm is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Deko-Boko have ended. It’s such an underrated song. From the moment you listen to Sukiniatte Gomen-Nasai you’re hooked. I like the agression and power of A Weekend Of A Clown. This song may be the most meaningful. Music and lyrics of Deko-Boko - The Lowest Saddle creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Tokyo Jinta - This is a very lively song. Kyu-Na Saka is almost impossible to review.
