It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Cass and Slide energies, virtually a rebirth. Cass and Slide had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Burning The Candle At Both End carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is what good House should be.
Funk In Hell is possibly the best song Cass and Slide has come up. Still going through Burning The Candle At Both End and coming to appreciate Opera more and more with every listen. Valium Behavior gives taste of what makes Cass and Slide special as a musician. The song Faithless ending is my favorite… so catchy! The opening track Havoc is very much like you would expect from other albums. Fever Rising is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Spanker - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Opera (Stealth Mix) is a striking and quite long song. In JFOK the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Sign Your Name is outstanding work of Cass and Slide. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy.
