It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Caprice energies, virtually a rebirth. Elvenmusic is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Since Caprice last CD (Elvenmusic) on SixSteps records back in 2001, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is what good Gothic should be.
Elvenmusic couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Princess Mee. Song Of The Wind had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Far Over Misty Mountains - A strong beat. The Last Dance is just simply stunning. Lullaby one of the best in my collection. The Mewlips have really caught my ear and imagination. Of Amroth and Nimrodel - Caprice first major hit. In The Road Goes Ever On and On Caprice is at his best. Merrymaking Of The Forest Elves is the first taste of the new album. Of True Thomas and Fairy Queen is pretty funky and mellow. Farewell stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty.
