This is the first studio album from Capercaillie since bad diagnosis in 2002. Get Out isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. There were many famous songs of Capercaillie available. If I may, I suggest “Waiting For The Wheel To Turn”. That one song is amazing!
Once you hear Pige Ruadh (Live), you will listen to it over and over. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Silver Spear Reels (Live) (4:15) - awsome. The song feels complete. Coisich A’ Ruin (Live) - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Capercaillie. Song Fear A’Bhata (Original Version) is actually a funny song. Dr. Macphail’s Trance (’92 Version) gets you up and jumping. Distant Hill is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. In The Reel Northern Light the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. I believe Mo Bhean Chomuinn is one of the most cool, heartfelt songs ever written. A Cur Nan Gobhar As A’ Chreig is a medium tempo tune. In Shanbally Castle/Caberfeidh it becomes nowhere more obvious that Capercaillie has yet to define own style.
