While no new Bireli Lagrene album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2001 tour in Australia. IF YOU LIKE ALL Bireli Lagrene’S SONG GO FOR IT! ‘Gipsy Project’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. I wish that “Gipsy Project” album was instrumental.
I like Coquette because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. When I listen to Si Tu Savais in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Bellville makes a person feel amazing. Daphne one is one of the better boring ones. You have to get essence of the Je Suis Seul Ce Soir’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Swing 42 is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Bireli Lagrene. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. This song stands out greatly from the others. Vipers Dream had me crying as I was able to relate so well. It’s a great pleasure to listen to What Is This Thing Called Love from the beginning to the end. Music and lyrics of La Mer creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Lime House Blues is outstanding work of Bireli Lagrene. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right.
