In First Time Ever I Saw Your Face you won’t find any flashy solos. This track is clearly meant to showcase Bert Jansch’s vocal abilities. The opening track Pretty Polly is very much like you would expect from other albums. I loved Blackwaterside the first time I heard it. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Henry Martin. Nottamun Town is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Gardener makes a person feel excellent.
