This is the first studio album from Amber Asylum since bad diagnosis in 2002. eleven years ago, Amber Asylum briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Riviera”. Riviera - For me, this is the best of the album. In Black Waltz full palet of sound is used by Amber Asylum to accentuate the presentation. Heckle and Jeckle is such a cool and optimistic song that things can get just better. Journey to the Sleepy Water is a good listen every once in a while. Je Suis Le Chat, La Lune is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. This track is clearly meant to showcase Amber Asylum’s vocal abilities. Ave’ Maria is astounding. A fantastic track full of wonder.
