On Solo Para Enamorados: 16 Exitos album, Alvaro Torres have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. There is no doubt that Alvaro Torres has talent. Solo Para Enamorados: 16 Exitos isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This is my first Alvaro Torres Album and i must say i am blown away.
Stress is another strong production from Alvaro Torres. Reencuentro is really the reason why I recommend buying Solo Para Enamorados: 16 Exitos. Lyrics of Mi Otro Yo are precise and evocative. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is He Vivido Esperando Por Ti because the melody in the chorus is so good. I love the melodic melody of Ni Tu, Ni Ella and to this day it makes me feel good. Mi Verdadero Amor is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. De Punta A Punta (3:33) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Hazme Olvidarla is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Ven Y Dame Un Poco Mas is one of my favorite songs by Alvaro Torres. Un Dia De Estos is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. After about the third Si Estuvieras Conmigo listen through, I began to believe this song is Alvaro Torres’s essence. Buenos Amigos is the first taste of the new album. Nada Se Compara Contigo I just LOVE this mix! So much energy, so exciting a sound.After you’ve listened to Si Dios Me Quita La Vida, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate.
