This disc has all of the essential Alghazanth classics. While no new Alghazanth album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2001 tour in Asia. It has been seven years Alghazanth’ last studio CD, “Osiris - Typhon Unmasked” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Exciting stuff.
Mercurian Soulscapes on Osiris - Typhon Unmasked is solid and easy to listen to. After few listenings I started to like In Invidiam more and more. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Regained Planetary Possession - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. This song may be the most meaningful. The Parody’s Zenith is probably the highlight of the album. The sound in Horns and Feathers is really warm and Alghazanth’s signature voice is still very much present. When I listen to Iconoblast in my car when traffic ain’t going so good.
